Alfredo Albanesi’s Testimony

Our God gave us a gift: His Word. We have to be truly thankful for that.

I have often reflected on this thought, especially when I think about the numerous times that I have read and studied the Bible superficially.

As an elder of my church, I know I have a great responsibility and a compelling necessity: I must study the Bible in depth in order to abound in understanding and to teach it accurately, as clearly, deeply and completely as possible for my sake and the sake of my congregation, which I have been given the privilege to shepherd.

This is why I started my studies at ITA.

From the very first expository session, I was struck. The instruction blessed me. I have benefited from the teaching, trying to make sure that my preaching is accurate and driven by the Word.

I thank God for the opportunity to study at ITA and I thank all the teachers for their commitment to the training of faithful men, willing to interpret correctly the truth, for the sake of their own spiritual life and for the sake of the congregation where God wants to make us “competent as ministers” (2 Corinthians 3:6).
